Have you seen what has happened in the park lately? The Woodlands Restoration Campaign has planted over 3500 trees in Cherokee and Seneca Parks. Since I live a block from the Park, I have witnessed hundreds of volunteers over this past year planting and removing vines that have taken over in some areas. In addition there are wonderful trails for walkers, bikers and our dogs. We are so lucky to have this beautiful Park right in the middle of our neighborhood. I used to run through Central Park in New York when I was on business and I honestly like our Park much better. The Olmsted is to be congratulated for a job well done.
